We had these installed on our new home two years ago and have annual problems with clogs due to squirrels eating off the vinyl and crawing around in the gutter and chewing up more of the gutter.
Granted we are in a woodsie area, but the builder thought these would work. On our old house before we tore it down we had metal helmit guards for 12 years and had no problems.
If a squirrel can eat up a bird feeder, these gutters are not much of a challenge for them!

After using the Waterfall Gutter Guard for 2 years we find it to be very effective at keeping our gutters clean. No problems yet! |
